This is just a short little update. I’ll post my weekly update later.
Almost 2 weeks ago, I ran a temperature. My surgeon sent me to the hospital to get things checked out. My white count was slightly elevated, but not enough to be overly concerned. As a precaution, they sent me home on an antibiotic.
Yesterday, I woke up with a lot of sinus pressure and felt a little under the weather, but nothing out of the ordinary for a Michigan spring.
Today, I was still not feeling fantastic. But again, springtime in Michigan.
This afternoon we had an appointment with the chemo peeps. They took my vitals like always. It was at that time, we found I had a low-grade temp (99.6). They’re not worried, but we are watching it.
Tonight, it’s up to 100.1. (At 100.4, they suggest calling your doc). I see my doc in the morning, so unless it skyrockets, I’ll wait until then.
Will you please pray that we can quickly figure this out? Until we solve this little mystery, I cannot start treatment.
Thanks all!
